Bespoke Experience - Short Quill Feather Ring
I used to play this little game with my regulars at the coffee shop. Robert would come in every Tuesday after work for his cappuccino. Depending on his mood, I’d adjust the recipe — maybe a stronger shot if he seemed tired, or a warmer, softer one on a cold, rainy day. Watching his expression after the first sip was always delightful. I found joy in creating a small, thoughtful experience for each customer.
That same principle guides how I want my collectors to feel when I create a piece of jewelry for them. To me, jewelry is deeply personal — it should feel like it belongs only to its wearer.
My bespoke process often begins with trying on a few samples. I observe the wearer’s hands, build, and personal style. The impression I get becomes the foundation of the design — the ring’s proportions, weight, and finish are all refined so that it truly speaks of the person who will wear it. Then comes the second fitting, and a third if needed. Finally, on delivery day, I present a ring made exclusively for that individual.
These conversations and moments matter to me. They remind me why I do what I do — to offer my best work, and to get to know a little more about the person for whom I’ve created it.
